right now i am really inspired by music. we have been rocking out to a lot of older stuff, 70s rock, bluegrass, classic country; which for anyone that knows my husband and i, is really crazy! (yes, i used to have a 15 inch subwoofer in my pink hatchback escort i am not ashamed to admit it!)
one of our favorite movies is High Fidelity with John Cusack. we watch it over and over and always ask each other for different “top five” lists for days afterwards. i thought it would be fun to document a list for posterity in one of our scrapbooks.
the idea came to me while doodling in my sketchbook.
it really got me thinking about other projects i could make. i created a scrapbook page with NO pictures. yes, i said NO pictures, don’t be afraid.
its our top 5 songs to sing in the car with the windows down, as loud as we can. my daughter joey loves to sing with us, its fun to introduce her to different kinds of music.
And I made a music journal to keep by our computer for jotting down the next batch of songs we want to download. Usually my hubby writes them on backs of envelopes and scratch paper and they get lost. Now they will stay in their adorable new home.
